Department: Executive Office of the Governor

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assisting in sourcing for appropriate television and radio programs to disseminate information on activities of the Governor;
2. Documenting the Governor’s events through video, photography and press cuttings;
3. Preparing and placement of radio and TV infomercials;
4. Assisting in the preparation of exhibitions and trade fairs; and
5. Assisting in the development of communications and media strategy.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a person must: –

1. Be a Kenyan citizen;
2. Be a holder of at least a diploma in any of the following disciplines: – Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Communication studies, Media Studies/Science or any other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a university recognized institution in Kenya;

Terms of Service: Three (3) Year Contract.
