Profile & Portfolio

Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Mechatronics Engineers

I’m a Mechatronics Engineering graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), currently awaiting graduation. I’ve gained hands-on experience through internships at Allpack Industries, Nation Media Group, and Mobikey Truck & Bus Kenya, where I worked on mechanical maintenance, diagnostics, and machining processes. I enjoy working with tools and technologies like Autodesk, Onshape, Python, Arduino, PLCs, and 3D printing to solve real-world engineering problems.

Outside the lab and workshop, I’ve served as the President of the JKUAT Society of Engineering Students and as Secretary in the IEK Future Leaders Subcommittee. These roles gave me the opportunity to lead national events, connect students to industry professionals, and grow as a team player and communicator. I’m a student member of IEK and IEEE, and I’m passionate about using engineering and innovation to create practical, people-focused solutions.

Education

Bachelor in Mechatronic Engineering

Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology
September 2019 - January 2025

Throughout my time at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) pursuing a degree in Mechatronics Engineering, I combined academic learning with extensive practical and leadership experience. I gained hands-on technical skills through internal and external attachments, working on machine repair, maintenance, machining operations, and electrical installations in industries such as manufacturing, publishing, and automotive service.

Beyond academics, I actively took on leadership and service roles including Club President of the JKUAT Society of Engineering Students (SES), and Class Representative, where I organized impactful events, led student initiatives, and contributed to community development. I also participated in national-level engineering activities, including serving as Secretary of the IEK Future Leaders Subcommittee and helping coordinate the 30th IEK Conference.

These experiences developed my capabilities in project coordination, team leadership, technical communication, and problem-solving, preparing me to contribute meaningfully to engineering teams and innovative projects in real-world settings.

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE)

Queen of Apostles Minor Seminary
Feb 2015 - Dec 2018

During my time in high school, I demonstrated strong leadership, responsibility, and a commitment to both academic and extracurricular excellence. I served as Head Sacristan and Assistant Sacristan, helping coordinate liturgical activities and fostering spiritual discipline within the school community. As the President of the Math and Science Club, I developed early leadership, communication, and organizational skills by guiding peers and promoting academic engagement.

I was also an active member of various clubs including Pro Life, Youth Christian Service (YCS), Legion of Mary and the Drama Club, where I participated in community service initiatives, spiritual development, and creative expression. These diverse experiences laid a strong foundation for my leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, which I have continued to build upon in university.
