Annette Yianto Letoya
I am Letoya Annette Yianto, a third-year law student at the University of Nairobi, pursuing a Bachelor of Law degree. With a sound foundation in legal theory, principles, and practice through courses like contract law, tort law, and constitutional law, I am well-equipped to embark on a career in the legal field. Complementing my legal education, I hold a degree in International Studies from Strathmore University, where I gained insights into global issues such as human rights, poverty, and international security.
Beyond academics, I have gained practical experience through internships at the National Disaster Operation Center and Zohdy Law Firm, as well as volunteering with the Africa Justice and Restoration Trust. My diverse skillset encompasses organisational abilities, multilingual proficiency, effective communication, leadership, analytical thinking, and technological competence. With a passion for literature, environmental conservation, and community service, I bring a well-rounded perspective to my pursuits in the legal domain.
