Augustine Mbugu

I am a Geospatial Engineer specializing in geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial data analysis. With hands-on experience at Kenya Forest Service and Research Plus Africa, I have developed expertise in forest resource mapping, environmental monitoring, and research-oriented geospatial applications. My technical foundation combines proficiency in GIS software platforms with strong analytical and technical writing capabilities.

Building on my bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Engineering from The Technical University of Kenya, I have contributed to projects involving environmental data analysis and digital mapping solutions. My bilingual proficiency in English and Swahili enables effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders in East Africa’s environmental and research sectors. I am particularly interested in applying geospatial technologies to address environmental conservation and sustainable resource management challenges.
