Shalom Gacheru
I am a student at Africa Nazarene University, where I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in international business management, after completing a diploma in business administration. I have a keen interest in learning and developing my skills in different fields and industries. I have recently completed a three-month stint as an assistant attache at Nairobi City County, where I gained valuable insights into the inner workings of government and public administration.
Prior to that, I worked as a field agent supervisor at Beacon of Hope Africa, a nonprofit organization that empowers rural communities through education, health, and entrepreneurship. I was responsible for overseeing and training the field agents, conducting surveys and assessments, and reporting on the impact and outcomes of the projects. I also have experience as a customer service agent at Image Registrars Ltd, where I handled inquiries, complaints, and feedback from clients and aquired knowhow on Digital Marketing and the use of SEO techniques. I am passionate about making a positive difference in the world, and I believe that I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to any team. I have strong competencies in attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving, and I am always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges.
