Tyron Okwara

Tyron Okwara is a dedicated Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree from Kenyatta University, graduating with a Second Class Upper Division. With a strong foundation in engineering principles, I specialize in sustainable agricultural solutions, focusing on soil and water engineering, renewable energy systems, and agricultural machinery.

I gained practical industry experience during an internship at GEDO Associates, an engineering consultancy, from January to May 2024. While there,I contributed to supervise river diversion works for sprinkler irrigation systems in Kirinyaga County. This experience enhanced my understanding of irrigation systems, water resource management, and project implementation.

In my final year at Kenyatta University,I  designed and installed a greenhouse solar dryer as part of a project, demonstrating innovation, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to sustainable agricultural practices.

With strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset,I am eager to contribute to the advancement of agricultural engineering practices. I seek an entry-level role where I can apply my skills, grow professionally, and positively impact agricultural systems.
