The BDO will be responsible for marketing the company’s products; compiling and providing the Sales Manager with appropriate information; planning, coordinating, and controlling the daily activities regarding commercial and technical sales matters; handling customer complaints; tele-marketing; setting and achieving sales targets and carrying out sales forecasts and territory planning for the Department.

Responsibilities.

  • Meet direct and tele-sales targets
  • Research markets and assess customer needs.
  • Generate sales leads via cold calls, networking, and social media.
  • Provide regular sales and financial reports.
  • Maintain stock availability for sales and presentations.
  • Represent the company at events.
  • Close deals and address customer concerns.
  • Support dealers and channel partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in sales.
  • Proficiency in English and Kiswahili.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • “Fix it right first-time” mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Willingness to travel.
