Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Teller to join our dynamic team. The Teller will be responsible for processing transactions efficiently, accurately, and in a professional manner. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive member experience while maintaining the integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Member Transactions: Handle cash deposits and withdrawals for members with accuracy and efficiency.
• Account Management: Assist members with account inquiries, balance checks, and updating personal information.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service by addressing member needs and resolving any issues promptly.
• Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to promote SACCO products and services to members.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions and ensure all operations comply with SACCO policies.
• Compliance: Adhere to all financial regulations and SACCO policies to ensure operational integrity.
• Any other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Cooperative management or a related field.
• Experience: Previous one-year experience in a banking or financial institution, particularly in a teller role, is an advantage.

Skills:

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in computer applications, especially in financial software.
