Pursuant to the provisions of Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya and Section 59 of the County Governments Act Cap. 265, Nakuru County Public Service Board invites applications from qualified Kenyan citizens to fill the following vacant positions in the Department of Infrastructure – Advert No. 17/2024.
ASSISTANT ENGINEER II [MECHANICAL (BS)] – ONE (1) POSITION – ADVERT NO. 17/2024/03
Basic salary scale: Ksh. 39,700 – 52,960 p.m. CPSB 09 (Job Group ‘K’)
Allowances as per the SRC circulars attached to the position
Terms of service: Three (3) year contract
For appointment to this position, a candidate must:
- Be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and
- Be registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer;
Duties and responsibilities;
This is the entry and training grade to the cadre. An officer at this level will be assigned mechanical engineering duties and will work under the supervision of an experienced officer. Duties and responsibilities will include;
- Design of mechanical services in government buildings and construction works; and
- Repair and maintenance of mechanical installations in airports, waterworks, offices, workshops conference complexes and other government facilities.
