Job Summary
The Delivery Agent (DA) is responsible for ensuring the accurate, efficient, and timely delivery of FMCG goods to minimarts and other designated locations. The role involves using route-planning tools, managing delivery schedules, resolving customer issues promptly, and maintaining accurate records of goods delivered and reconciled.
Key Responsibilities
Efficient Delivery Execution
- Deliver FMCG goods to minimarts and other clients within the assigned routes on schedule.
- Confirm delivery orders and reconcile goods upon completion of each delivery.
Route Planning and Optimization
- Use smartphone-based route planning and navigation tools to ensure timely and fuel-efficient deliveries.
- Adjust routes dynamically based on traffic or delivery requirements.
Customer Interaction and Issue Resolution
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally during deliveries.
- Communicate any delays or changes to customers and relevant stakeholders promptly.
Goods Management
- Verify goods allocated for delivery against delivery orders or invoices.
- Ensure safe handling and transportation of goods to maintain quality and prevent damage.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare and share timely reports on delivery progress, reconciliations, and incidents.
- Maintain accurate records of goods delivered, returned, or undelivered, and submit these daily.
Coordination and Teamwork
- Collaborate with the warehouse, logistics team, and supervisors to ensure seamless delivery operations.
- Provide feedback to improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction.
Key Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or related fields is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a delivery role, preferably in FMCG or retail sectors.
- Familiarity with delivery documentation and reconciliation processes.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using smartphones and route-planning apps.
- Basic reporting and record-keeping skills.

- Time Management: Ability to manage schedules effectively and prioritize deliveries to meet deadlines.
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills to handle customer interactions and resolve issues professionally.

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry goods (up to 25kg) and handle physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
Working Conditions
Flexible working hours, including early mornings or late evenings as needed.
Travel within assigned delivery regions using company-provided vehicles.
