The Embassy of Kenya in Washington D.C. invites applications from suitable candidates who are based in USA for the position below.; 

Admin Assistant (1) 

Duties

  1. Calendar and diary management.
  2. Organizing relevant documents for use during meetings.
  3. Scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
  4. Coordinating travel itineraries and hotel bookings.
  5. Handling phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
  6. Maintaining office supplies.
  7. Keeping accurate records and maintaining an efficient filing system.
  8. Prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines effectively.
  9. Handling general office tasks.
  10. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Mission or authorized officer.

Qualification and skills

  1. Minimum possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution; A Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage.
  2. Good communication skills.
  3. Good organizational skills.
  4. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook applications.
  5. Time management skills.
  6. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  7. Team player.
  8. Committed to continuous learning.
