We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Call Center Agent with experience in debt collection to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting clients to collect outstanding payments, negotiating repayment plans, and maintaining accurate records of interactions. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to ensure high recovery rates while maintaining professional client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact clients via phone, email, or other communication channels to collect outstanding debts.
  • Negotiate repayment plans and terms with clients based on their financial circumstances.
  • Monitor and track payment agreements to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions, agreements, and payments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries, concerns, or disputes professionally and promptly.
  • Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements governing debt collection practices.
  • Collaborate with the team and management to meet individual and team collection targets.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved cases to the appropriate departments for further action.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Customer Service, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a call center environment, specifically in debt collection.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in using call center software and CRM systems.
    • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
