Vacancy Description

We are a regulated, well-established Deposit Taking (DT) Savings and Credit Co-operative Society for all Professionals with membership of over 26,000 spread globally. We are seeking to recruit highly qualified result-oriented individuals for the following positions.

SALES REPRESENTATIVES

Department: Operations

Section: Marketing and Customer Service

Reports to: Business Development Manager

Direct Reports: N/A

Workstation: Mombasa and Kisumu

JOB PURPOSE

To recruit members for the Society and present, promote and sell products/services using sound arguments to existing and prospective customers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

  1. Achieve the monthly sales targets arising from member recruitment and increasing the Society’s portfolio.
  2. Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  3. Maintain effective customer service to be able to meet clients’ expectations.
  4. Achieve timely development of sales proposals, presentation, and reports.
  5. Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  6. Collection of feedback from members at various networking forums that could be used for business leads and improve product and service offering.
  7. Participate in marketing activities and events.
  8. Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
  9. Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required,

  1. Holders of a Diploma in Business related field or its equivalent from a recognized university,
  2. A bachelor’s degree is an added advantage
  3. Professional Qualification in CIM and Member of MSK is an added advantage.
  4. Successful candidates will be required to meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of the constitution of Kenya by obtaining the necessary documentation.

Minimum years of experience required

Minimum 1-year relevant experience and in a similar position.

  1. Good knowledge of the market and the Society’s products and services.
  2. Self-confidence and motivated.

  5. Proficiency in Microsoft office.
