To strengthen our team, we are seeking to fill the following position:
Radiology Intern
Reporting to the RADIOGRAPHER.
Purpose:
To glorify God by safely delivering diagnostic radiography services taking into accounts the principles of justification and optimization with regard to all current radiation safety regulations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- To assist in attending to patients sent to the department for various X-ray examinations and Ultrasound
- To assist in any emergency treatment of patients if necessary i.e allergic reaction
- To assist in observing and reporting any erratic or defective performance of equipment
- To assist in explaining procedures and giving reassurance where needed
- To assist in performing mobile X-rays
Applicants Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Attributes
- Degree or Diploma in Medical imaging sciences
- Must have done three months attachment in any recognized institution
- Possess a valid private practicing License
- Registered with Radiation Protection Board
