Role Overview

In this role, you’ll work closely with senior counsel to represent clients in court, manage litigation files, draft legal documents, and contribute to case strategies. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years post-admission experience, is comfortable with court appearances, and is eager to deepen their litigation skills across civil and criminal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court mentions, hearings, and trials under supervision
• Draft pleadings, affidavits, contracts, submissions, and legal opinions
• Conduct legal research and assist in shaping case strategy
• Liaise with court registries, manage deadlines, and track case progress
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide timely case updates

Minimum Qualifications

• Advocate of the High Court of Kenya (in good standing)
• 1–2 years of active litigation experience post-admission
• LLB from a recognized institution + Postgraduate Diploma (KSL)
• Solid drafting skills and courtroom exposure
• Proficient in Kenya Law Reports, LexisNexis, MS Office, and legal tools
• Valid Practicing Certificate and LSK membership
