Accounting Intern

PuryHydro is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support our finance operations. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your accounting skills in a real business setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and submitting statutory deductions (NHIF, NSSF, PAYE, etc.).
• Filling Monthly and annual KRA Tax returns
• Support in generating and managing invoices.
• Follow up on payments with clients and ensure timely collections.
• Update and maintain the customer database accurately.
• Assist with other day-to-day accounting tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• A recent graduate or student pursuing a degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting processes and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting software is an added advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
