Junior Interactive Game Developer Intern

Job Summary:

An opportunity is open for a creative and motivated intern to join as a Junior Interactive Game Developer. The role involves building educational, web-based games using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which are embedded into Articulate to create engaging learning experiences.

You will work with prototypes, visual layouts, and AI-assisted tools to develop interactive content. This internship is ideal for students, recent graduates, or self-taught developers seeking hands-on experience in game development, UI/UX design, and modern AI-driven workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in writing, optimizing, and debugging JavaScript-based game logic.
• Build responsive game interfaces using HTML5 and CSS3.
• Enhance interactivity, animation, and gameplay across devices.
• Translate visual concepts, wireframes, or sketches into working interfaces.
• Test and refine games to ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate within an AI-augmented development workflow.
• Contribute creative ideas to improve user engagement and game flow.

Job Requirements:

• Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals (functions, arrays, conditionals, events).
• Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
• Ability to work with, adapt, and improve AI-generated code and assets.
• Comfortable using cloud-based development platforms like GitHub or Replit.
• Able to interpret prompts, tools, and outputs from AI systems efficiently.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a course in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  (Self-taught developers with portfolio work are also encouraged to apply.)
• Demonstrated experience in front-end web development.
• Very strong skills in using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Phaser.js, Canvas API, or JavaScript game libraries.
• Bonus: Experience in UI/UX design using tools like Canva, Figma, or Autodraw.
