The National Housing Corporation (NHC) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament, Cap. 117, whose mandate is to implement government housing policies and Programmes. The Corporation is seeking to recruit results driven and highly motivated individuals to fill the positions below.<\/p>\n

Knowledge Management Officer - NHC\/73\/2024<\/h2>\n

NHC Job Grade<\/strong>: 7<\/p>\n

Job Specification:<\/h2>\n

Duties and responsibilities will entail assisting in:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Collecting information for the development of knowledge management strategy\/guidelines;<\/li>\n
  2. Drafting reports on NHC\u2019s projects, impacts and outcomes;<\/li>\n
  3. Assisting in gathering data, information and documentation of the same for the purpose of knowledge management;<\/li>\n
  4. Collecting data on existing resource to inform its relevancy, accuracy and applicability in the institution and the industry;<\/li>\n
  5. Assisting in the identification, collection, documentation, and storing of tacit\/implicit knowledge and converting it into shared knowledge;<\/li>\n
  6. Monitoring the implementation of Knowledge Management Strategy and other initiatives;<\/li>\n
  7. Developing new ideas, approaches, practices and procedures in knowledge management;<\/li>\n
  8. Identifies requisites books and periodicals; and<\/li>\n
  9. Assisting in preparing of e-resources for public access.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Person Specification:<\/h3>\n

    For appointment to this grade, a person must have:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Bachelor\u2019s degree in any of the following disciplines; Library Studies, Information Science, knowledge management, or other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited institution;<\/li>\n
    2. Proficiency in computer applications; and<\/li>\n
    3. Fulfilled the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Terms of Service and Remuneration<\/h4>\n

        1. The appointment to positions in Grades 4 to 12 will be on permanent and pensionable basis.<\/li>\n
        2.
