Siaya Institute of Technology (SIT) is a Public TVET Institution operating under the TVET Act No. 29 of 2013 in the State Department of Vocational and Technical Training, Ministry of Education, Kenya. It is situated in Siaya Town along the Siaya - Rang\u2019ala Road.<\/p>\n

Trainer Electrical\/Electronic Engineering Department<\/h2>\n

SUBJECT AREA<\/strong>: Electrical Instrumentation and Control<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATION<\/strong>: Degree in Electrical & Electronics(Electrical Instrumentation & Control Option)<\/p>\n

NO OF VACANCIES<\/strong>: 1<\/p>\n

Terms of Service<\/strong>: One year contract renewable subject to satisfactory performance.<\/p>\n

Salary:<\/strong> As per the existing SIT B.O.G Terms of Service.<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus<\/li>\n
  2. Preparing teaching\/learning materials and schemes of work<\/li>\n
  3. Setting and marking examination\/assignment<\/li>\n
  4. Instructing, guiding and evaluation of trainees in practical exercises<\/li>\n
  5. Reporting progress and overall performance of individual trainees<\/li>\n
  6. Participating in development of curriculum and training programmes<\/li>\n
  7. Undertaking\/ carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer.<\/li>\n
  8. Supervision of trainees on attachment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note: <\/strong><\/p>\n
