DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h3>\n

Medication Dispensing:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Accurately prepare and dispense medications to patients based on prescriptions.<\/li>\n
  • Verify prescription details and ensure that medications are correctly labeled.<\/li>\n
  • Provide information to patients regarding proper medication usage and potential side effects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Medication Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Assist in managing inventory and ensuring that all medications are stocked and readily available.<\/li>\n
    • Monitor medication expiration dates and alert the pharmacy supervisor for any necessary actions.<\/li>\n
    • Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications, stock levels, and returned items.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Customer Service:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • Offer exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and providing information about over-the-counter medications.<\/li>\n
      • Educate patients on proper medication use and provide guidance on pharmaceutical-related issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Data Entry and Documentation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        • Accurately input patient information, prescriptions, and medication details into the pharmacy management system.<\/li>\n
        • Ensure that all patient records are maintained confidentially and in compliance with healthcare regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Collaboration and Teamwork:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          • Work collaboratively with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.<\/li>\n
          • Assist in daily tasks and be available for various ad-hoc duties as directed by the pharmacy supervisor or pharmacist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Compliance:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            • Adhere to all pharmaceutical regulations, guidelines, and standards to ensure compliance with local health laws and organizational policies.<\/li>\n
            • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with health and safety protocols.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              KEY REQUIREMENTS<\/h3>\n

              SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

              • Diploma in Pharmacy or a related field<\/li>\n
              • At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a healthcare setting<\/li>\n
              • Hands-on experience with medication dispensing and management is highly desirable<\/li>\n
              • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.<\/li>\n
              • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.<\/li>\n
              • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients and healthcare professionals professionally<\/li>\n
