We partner with cities to develop and deliver safe sanitation and waste management for urban residents. Using a systematic methodology, we match cities\u2019 sanitation and waste management needs with technology and service delivery models, and then offer clear guidance on the steps that governments, funders, service providers and technology developers can take to develop and implement integrated service delivery systems.<\/p>\n

Operational since 2011, The Sanergy Collaborate serves over 150,000 urban residents with safe sanitation services every day and safely removes nearly 20,000T of sanitation waste per year. We have built a team of over 400 employees from diverse backgrounds who all embody the drive, creativity, teamwork, and passion that make us achieve our goals. About the Role<\/h4>\n

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Intern to join our team and gain valuable hands-on experience in managing and supporting our organization's IT systems. As an IT Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our IT professionals and assist with troubleshooting, system maintenance, and various technical projects. This internship is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to grow in the IT field.<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues across the organization.<\/li>\n
  • Support IT staff in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, networks, and applications.<\/li>\n
  • Help maintain and update databases, servers, and other IT systems.<\/li>\n
  • Provide technical support to staff, including helping resolve common technical issues related to software, hardware, and networking.<\/li>\n
  • Assist in system backups and data recovery tasks.<\/li>\n
  • Help with setting up new workstations and configuring necessary software.<\/li>\n
  • Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT systems run smoothly and efficiently.<\/li>\n
  • Participate in ongoing IT projects and support the implementation of new technologies.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor and ensure proper functioning of network connections and servers.<\/li>\n
  • Assist with cybersecurity tasks and support in maintaining data security.<\/li>\n
  • Assist in audio-visual meeting setups.<\/li>\n
  • Perform and maintain inventory of IT assets.<\/li>\n
  • Perform periodic preventive maintenance on all IT assets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.<\/li>\n
    • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and hardware components.<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, Linux, or MacOS.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.<\/li>\n
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.<\/li>\n
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.<\/li>\n
    • Previous internship or technical experience is a plus (preferred but not required).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
