Cytonn Asset Managers Limited (CAML) is a regulated Fund Manager by the Capital Markets Authority and the Retirement Benefits Authority. The company is also a licensed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) Manager under the Capital Markets Authority. Our objective is to offer superior risk-adjusted investment returns to our clients through investments in both the public and alternative investments markets. The fund manager provides Cytonn Money Market Fund (CMMF) (https:\/\/cytonn.com\/asset-managers\/money-market-fund), one of the high yielding money market funds in Kenya, which is fully automated for our retail investors.<\/p>\n

CAML investors include global and local institutional investors, individual retail investors, and diaspora investors.<\/p>\n

To advance key growth initiatives, the company is looking for highly motivated, dynamic, hardworking and self-driven team players to join the team in the Investments Department. The individuals will handle various aspects of Public Markets, Alternative Investments (Real Estate Research, Real Estate\u00a0Investments and Private Equity)<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Conducting fundamental company & investment opportunity research and analysis, in Real Estate, Private Equity, Structured Products, Equities & Fixed Income<\/li>\n
  2. Financial modelling and data analysis<\/li>\n
  3. Analysing historical and projected financial statements & investment data<\/li>\n
  4. Authoring original investments research<\/li>\n
  5. Preparing written reports and verbal presentations<\/li>\n
  6. Conducting country, industry and capital markets research<\/li>\n
  7. Participating in the evaluation, formulation and implementation of investment strategies<\/li>\n
  8. Contributing in investment meetings and review sessions<\/li>\n
  9. Conduct industry and customer analyses on behalf of the Investment and business development teams<\/li>\n
  10. Work with clients to develop a financial plan as the basis of providing sound financial advice<\/li>\n
  11. Prepare the relevant presentations for events<\/li>\n
  12. Comply with all corporate policies and procedures<\/li>\n
  13. Thought leadership and article writing.<\/li>\n
  14. Any other duties as may be prescribed from time to time<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Requirements<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. The ideal candidate should have a minimum Bachelor\u2019s Degree, Upper Second Class Honours or equivalent<\/li>\n
    2. Minimum of a B+ in KCSE or equivalent<\/li>\n
    3. Sufficient progress towards professional qualifications in finance\/investments e.g. CIFA\/CFA or be a registered student and actively pursuing the CFA, CIFA, CPA or CAIA qualifications<\/li>\n
    4. Excellent analytical skills and quantitative ability<\/li>\n
    5. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with great accuracy, organization, attention to detail and follow-through<\/li>\n
    6. Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion with minimal directions<\/li>\n
    7.
