This role provides exposure to both operational functions and project execution.<\/p>\n<h4>About AfEMA<\/h4>\n<p>The Africa E-Mobility Alliance (AfEMA) is a nonprofit organisation working to accelerate the adoption of sustainable electric mobility across Africa. We unite diverse partners to promote an affordable, accessible, and environmentally sustainable e-mobility ecosystem through policy, market, and knowledge practice initiatives.<\/p>\n<h4>Overview<\/h4>\n<p>Work directly with our leadership team to support project management and operational initiatives. This role provides exposure to both operational functions and project execution.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u25cf Assist in coordinating AfEMA's project portfolio, including tracking deliverables and timelines<br \/>\n\u25cf Help develop project proposals and track implementation progress<br \/>\n\u25cf Assist with operational tasks, including meeting coordination and documentation<br \/>\n\u25cf Support program monitoring and evaluation activities<\/p>\n<h3>Required Qualifications<\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u25cf Currently pursuing or recently finalised a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, International Development, or related field<br \/>\n\u25cf Strong organisational and time management skills<br \/>\n\u25cf Excellent written and verbal communication abilities<br \/>\n\u25cf Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (MS Office, Google Workspace)<br \/>\n\u25cf Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities<br \/>\n\u25cf Interest in sustainable development and African markets<\/p>\n<h4>Preferred Qualifications<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u25cf Experience with project management methodologies or tools<br \/>\n\u25cf Background in event planning or coordination<br \/>\n\u25cf Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation frameworks<br \/>\n\u25cf Understanding of nonprofit operations<br \/>\n\u25cf Familiarity with African business environments<br \/>\n\u25cf Interest in transportation, energy, or climate policy<\/p>\n<h4>Learning Opportunities<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u25cf Develop project management skills in a fast-paced, impact-focused environment.<br \/>\n\u25cf Gain exposure to multiple aspects of nonprofit operations<br \/>\n\u25cf Build relationships with diverse stakeholders across government, industry, and investment sectors<br \/>\n\u25cf Understand the challenges and opportunities in scaling e-mobility solutions<br \/>\n\u25cf Contribute to meaningful work advancing sustainable transportation<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Approach to Internships<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At AfEMA, we structure internship experiences to provide a balanced exposure to project work and operations\/management responsibilities.
