This role provides hands-on experience in graphic design, file preparation, and print production processes.<\/p>\n<h3>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in creating and revising digital artwork, including typesetting, illustrations, photo manipulation, logo design, branding, and printed collateral.<\/li>\n<li>Support customer service staff and clients by providing alternative graphic options based on artwork requirements, material selection, and printing technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Learn to impose digital files for efficient print and bindery production.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in communicating with clients regarding artwork specifications, potential issues, and project deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Help in preparing and optimizing client graphic files for proofing and production.<\/li>\n<li>Work on scheduling jobs based on due dates and production priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure file consistency with previous or similar jobs to maintain quality standards.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in reviewing and finalizing artwork with clients before production.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and translate ideas into design.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a\u00a0<strong>Certificate\/Diploma\/ Degree in Electronic Publishing, Graphic Design, or a related field<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of print design, file preparation, and pre-press production is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Completed the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR THE ROLE<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic knowledge of printing processes (Flexo and Offset printing preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with\u00a0<strong>Adobe Creative Suite<\/strong>\u00a0(Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.<\/li>\n<li>Keen attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Creative thinking and adaptability in design tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":746797,"template":"","meta":{"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_promoted":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_job_salary_unit":"","_job_how_to_apply":""},"job_listing_region":[209],"job-categories":[48,412],"job-types":[6],"class_list":{"0":"post-793181","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-expired","4":"has-post-thumbnail","5":"hentry","6":"job_listing_region-nairobi","7":"job_listing_category-editorial-multimedia-print-student-jobs-in-kenya","8":"job_listing_category-graphic-design","9":"job_listing_type-internship","11":"job-type-internship"},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/793181","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/746797"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=793181"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_region","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job_listing_region?post=793181"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-categories?post=793181"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=793181"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
