{"id":798555,"date":"2025-04-03T14:24:16","date_gmt":"2025-04-03T11:24:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=798555"},"modified":"2025-08-14T03:26:13","modified_gmt":"2025-08-14T00:26:13","slug":"798555-kemri-clerk-community-interviewer-isiolo","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/?post_type=job_listing&p=798555","title":{"rendered":"Clerk - Community Interviewer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is a state corporation established through the Science and Technology (Amendment) Act of 1979, which has since been amended to Science, Technology and Innovation Act 2013 as the national body responsible for carrying out health research in Kenya.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Administrative Assistant - Isiolo<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"toc_key_responsibilities:\">Key Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in identification and registration of potential participants<\/li>\n<li>Ensure consistent implementation of the research protocol over time<\/li>\n<li>Schedule participants for follow-ups<\/li>\n<li>Complete study forms accurately &amp; completely<\/li>\n<li>Ensure s\/he has the requisite supplies in good time<\/li>\n<li>Ensure specimens for transfer to the County laboratory are properly tracked and transported in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the entire research team to resolve problems\/queries<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive research information<\/li>\n<li>Participate in monthly program meetings<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to relate well with MOH staff and CHVs and the community<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties assigned\/delegated by the study management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"toc_vacancy_requirements:\">Vacancy Requirements:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Mandatory<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D+ and above or its equivalent from a recognized institution<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in computer applications;<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swahili.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in electronic data collection e.g. smartphone, tablets<\/li>\n<li>Be a resident or willing to live and work in the study area<\/li>\n<li>Planning and Organization Skills<\/li>\n<li>Communication Skills<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal Skills<\/li>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in working in a research \/hospital setting is an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":715154,"template":"","meta":{"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_promoted":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_job_salary_unit":"","_job_how_to_apply":"<p>To apply for this post you must be a registered user.
