Operations Intern (Nairobi)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nDuration<\/strong>: 6 - 9 Months<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Export shipment acceptance box counts, weight measures, and arrival temperature recording.<\/li>\n
  • Intake reports generation and communication to clients.<\/li>\n
  • Reports any irregularity with shipments on arrival to the supervisor.<\/li>\n
  • Check on airline equipment\u2019s inventory and report on the non-supplies and irregularities.<\/li>\n
  • Follows instructions on pelletizing shipments per booked flights.<\/li>\n
  • Labeling of boxes before palletization as per instructions given.<\/li>\n
  • Accurate pallet-card reports generation as per shipment build-ups.<\/li>\n
  • Generate correct daily warehouse inventory reports.<\/li>\n
  • Pallets label application.<\/li>\n
  • Attending to any other task in the operations department as allocated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Requirements<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Degree or higher diploma in operations management\/commercial courses and aviation courses.<\/li>\n
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft\u00ae Office Software (Excel\u00ae, Word\u00ae, PowerPoint\u00ae, and others).<\/li>\n
    • Ability to diagnose and solve problems.<\/li>\n
    • A team player with the ability to work well in a small, dynamic maintenance team.<\/li>\n
    • Self-motivated, confident, creative, disciplined with attention to detail.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to cope with stressful situations.<\/li>\n
