DEPARTMENT OF ICT, E-GOVERNMENT & INNOVATION, YOUTH<\/strong><\/p>\n

Basic Salary Scale<\/strong>: Ksh. 41,420.00 - 57,230.00 (CPSB 09)
\nHouse Allowance<\/strong>: Ksh. 12,800 p.m
\nCommuter Allowance:<\/strong> Ksh. 5,000 p.m.
\nOther Allowances<\/strong> as Per the SRC Circulars
\nTerms of Service<\/strong>: Three (3) Years Contract (Renewable)<\/p>\n

Requirements for Appointment-:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Bachelor\u2019s Degree in any of the following fields: Information Technology, Computer Science, Business IT, Software Engineering, ICT Project Management, Computer Engineering or other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution.<\/li>\n
  • At least any one (1) certifications from relevant professional bodies in either CCNP, CDCP, CCNA Cloud, CCNA Industrial\/IoT, CCNA, MCSE, MCSA, MCSD, N+, A+ OCA, CISSP, Linux+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), CISA, CISM, CGEIT or other equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.<\/li>\n
  • Proven Skills in Computer, laptop maintenance and repair, Security operations, Troubleshooting, IT equipment installation and configuration, IT support, Reporting<\/li>\n
  • Must have Cybersecurity Certification.<\/li>\n
  • CISA Membership or an equivalent ICT professional body.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Duties and Responsibilities -:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Developing documentation of computer programs according to instructions and specifications;<\/li>\n
    • Installing and configuring computer systems and solutions;<\/li>\n
    • Maintaining application systems;<\/li>\n
    • Providing end user support and training users on effective and efficient use of ICT facilities;<\/li>\n
    • Maintaining up to date equipment register;<\/li>\n
    • Installing, configuring and monitoring Local Area Network components;<\/li>\n
    • Administering and managing users in the Active Directory, e-mail server and User applications;Maintaining an up-to-date ICT equipment register and issuance register;<\/li>\n
