This position bridges technical expertise in maintenance with operational proficiency to support Fahari Aviation\u2019s mission and compliance requirements.<\/p>\n<h3>Principal Accountabilities (Responsibilities)<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Maintenance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of drones to ensure operational readiness.<\/li>\n<li>Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend drone lifespan.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including logs, parts usage, and servicing schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for technical support, spare parts, and warranty claims.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ensure compliance with safety standards and KCAA maintenance regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Operational<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as a drone operator for various missions, including data collection, surveying, and photography when required. Page 2 of 4.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with clients to assess mission requirements and plan flights accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Create and execute detailed flight plans while adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Manage mission data, ensuring secure storage, organization, and analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Administrative and Logistical Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in managing drone inventory, including tracking usage, spare parts, and consumables.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with the procurement team for timely ordering of parts and tools.<\/li>\n<li>Schedule and oversee calibration or upgrades of drone systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Training and Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the training of team members and clients in basic drone maintenance and operations.<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date with the latest drone technologies and operational procedures, sharing insights with the team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Quality Assurance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all maintenance and operational activities meet Fahari Aviation\u2019s standards of quality and safety.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in internal and external audits related to drone maintenance and operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Job Requirements<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i-pride.kenya-airways.com\/OA_HTML\/cabo\/images\/skyros\/t.gif?w=8&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\"  \/><span id=\"JobRequirements\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Qualification (Minimum)\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.<\/li>\n<li>Certificate of Good Conduct.<\/li>\n<li>Valid Remote Pilot License (RPL).<\/li>\n<li>Training in drone maintenance (DJI Maintenance Technician certification) is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s License.<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years of experience in drone maintenance and operations.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in aviation maintenance or as a drone pilot is a strong advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with data management systems for operational logs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":695600,"template":"","meta":{"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_promoted":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_job_salary_unit":"","_job_how_to_apply":"<p>If you fit the profile, then apply today.
