Title:<\/strong> COMMUNICATION AND MARKETING INTERN Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n The Communication and Marketing intern will work closely with the Policy, Research and Partnerships team to market and communicate IEK events and activities in a timely and effective manner. \na) \u00a0 \u00a0Managing the IEK website and social media platforms; run communication campaigns supporting various IEK projects.
\nb) \u00a0 \u00a0Serving as media liaison \u2013 including organizing press conferences, media events, and interviews.
\nc) \u00a0 \u00a0Maintaining consistency of the IEK brand across all platforms.
\nd) \u00a0 \u00a0Handling both internal and external communications.
\ne) \u00a0 \u00a0Writing and editing newsletters, media briefs, blogs, news releases, opinion editorials, etc.
\nf) \u00a0 \u00a0Drafting correspondence, speeches, statements, talking points, and presentations.
\ng)\u00a0 \u00a0Collaborating with the editorial committee on the Engineering in Kenya Magazine.
\nh)\u00a0 \u00a0Contributing to the development and production of IEK publications.
\ni) \u00a0 \u00a0Responding to member inquiries and provide customer support through digital and other channels.
\nj) \u00a0 \u00a0Designing and updating IEK marketing collateral (brochures, fliers, e-shots, etc)
\nk)\u00a0 \u00a0Coordinating the creation of IEK videos and photo content.
\nl) \u00a0 \u00a0Managing media-related resources (e.g., banners, branding materials).
\nm)\u00a0 Developing a concept for an IEK Engineering TV show and actively pursue sponsorship.
\nn)\u00a0 \u00a0Assisting in the planning, promotion, and execution of IEK events.
