{"id":810996,"date":"2025-06-01T18:17:58","date_gmt":"2025-06-01T15:17:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=810996"},"modified":"2025-09-23T03:42:17","modified_gmt":"2025-09-23T00:42:17","slug":"810996-hyatt-place-and-hyatt-house-bell-attendant-nairobi","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/campusbiz.co.ke\/careers\/?post_type=job_listing&p=810996","title":{"rendered":"Bell Attendant"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Greet and warmly welcome all guests with a smile to the Hotel, offering luggage assistance on arrival and departure.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all guests requests are dealt with promptly and in a courteous manner.<\/li>\n<li>Welcome guests with the appropriate greetings depending on the time of day.<\/li>\n<li>Check on the daily occupancy, arrivals, departures, VIP\u2019S, groups and guests with special needs.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure collection and delivery of guest luggage and equipment\u2019s in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Providing storage for guests\u2019 luggage\u2019s, tagging and issuing a copy of the luggage tag to the guest.<\/li>\n<li>Escorting guests to the rooms, inducting them on the room amenities and placing luggage on the rack.<\/li>\n<li>Delivery of guest messages to the rooms and running office errands as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the guests verify their luggage before delivery and after delivery to the rooms as well as before loading to the vehicles during check out.<\/li>\n<li>Respond to guest requests and queries providing a knowledgeable, efficient and helpful information service<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Transport coordinator on guests transport planning and requests.<\/li>\n<li>Upselling the Hotel Food &amp; Beverage outlets, conference, rooms and business center on any inquiries at the concierge.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate to the Front Office Team Leader before leaving your position in the course of the normal shift to plan for proper coverage.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares morning newspaper distribution list, (applicable when the management offers this value add)<\/li>\n<li>Supports Departmental Trainers by providing feedback emanating from both internal and external guests.<\/li>\n<li>Alert the Duty Manager or Front Office Manager upon experiencing suspicious characters or difficult guests.<\/li>\n<li>Have thorough product knowledge of the Hotel and activities\/promotions taking place.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate any negative comments to the Front Office Manager obtained while engaging guests.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the reception on physical wake up calls where guests do not respond to telephone wake up calls as guided in the wake-up call standard operating procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Collect check out cards for departing guests and summarize in the check-out card book at the end of the shift.
