Veterinary Trainee (Chicken Focus) <\/strong><\/p>\n

Location<\/strong>: Nairobi\/Thika
\nExperience<\/strong>: Entry level \/ Final year student or recent graduate in Veterinary Medicine
\nReports to<\/strong>: Quality Assurance Lead - Poultry<\/p>\n

Job Purpose: <\/strong><\/p>\n

To support the veterinary and quality teams in maintaining humane, hygienic, and regulatory-compliant handling of poultry across the value chain.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n

  • Assist in ante- and post-mortem inspections.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor animal welfare compliance and humane slaughter practices.<\/li>\n
  • Enforce hygiene protocols during processing.<\/li>\n
  • Collect samples for testing and maintain proper documentation.<\/li>\n
  • Participate in audits, incident reporting, and regulatory training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Compliance with meat hygiene inspection requirements.<\/li>\n
