ASSISTANT OFFICER II SECURITY WARDEN II \u2013 TSC JOB GRADE 13 - POST (1)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Requirements for Appointment<\/h3>\n

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:<\/p>\n

(i) Certificate of training in security related fields i.e. security procedures, access control, surveillance system, safety or first aid;
\n(ii) National youth service training will be added advantage; and<\/p>\n

Duties and responsibilities<\/h3>\n

Duties and responsibilities of a security warden II will entail:<\/p>\n

(i) Providing response services to safeguard life and property;
\n(ii) Enforcing Commission\u2019s security procedures and policy;
\n(iii) Controlling access and exit at the commission premises;
\n(iv) Monitoring and controlling movement of persons within the commission offices;
\n(v) Facilitating in evacuation of persons during emergency;
\n(vi) Carrying out daily assessment of security threats and initiating counter measures;
\n(vii) Prevent loss of property; and
\n(viii) Conducting security patrols within<\/p>\n

The terms and remuneration benefits for this Grade:<\/p>\n

Terms of Service <\/strong>: Permanent and Pensionable
\nBasic Salary Scale <\/strong>: Kshs.28,016 p.m. \u2013 Kshs.49,369 p.m.
\nHouse Allowance <\/strong>: As per Region
\nCommuter Allowance <\/strong>: Kshs.4,000 p.m.
\nLeave Allowance <\/strong>: Kshs.4,000 p.m.
\nAnnual Leave <\/strong>: 30 working days per calendar year
