The Authority is seeking to recruit results-oriented, self-driven, dynamic, and experienced individuals with high integrity to fill the following positions:<\/p>\n

Officer - Data Centre Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n

Terms of Service<\/strong>:\u00a0 Three (3) years, Fixed Term Contract<\/p>\n

Remuneration<\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 As per KRA salary structure<\/p>\n

Job Summary<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The jobholder shall be responsible for the day-to-day ICT data centre's monitoring, and provide hourly reports on electrical, mechanical and telecommunications systems<\/p>\n

Duties and responsibilities<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Responsible for the implementation of approved System Change Requests (SCRs) to facilitate successful implementation.<\/li>\n
  • Implement basic troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to business applications to minimize disruptions.<\/li>\n
  • Support end-users by answering questions, providing guidance, and helping them utilize the solutions provided.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure conformity to ISO (9001\/2015 and 27001\/2013) and data security requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Troubleshoot minor incidents and system issues and provide basic training to system users, and perform general duties and tasks as assigned by management<\/li>\n
  • Provide general reports to stakeholders as per the service level agreement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Person specifications<\/h4>\n

    For appointment to this job, the candidate must have:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • A Bachelor\u2019s degree in IT\/ Management Information Systems \/ Business IT\/ Computer Science \/ Business Administration \/ Management Course or any other related course from a recognised institution<\/li>\n
    • One(1) year of relevant work experience.<\/li>\n
    • Proficiency in Computer Applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          1. Valid certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.<\/li>\r\n\t
          2. Valid clearance certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).<\/li>\r\n\t
          3. Valid tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).<\/li>\r\n\t
          4.
