The Authority is seeking to recruit results-oriented, self-driven, dynamic, and experienced individuals with high integrity to fill the following positions:<\/p>\n

Officer - Strategy & Programmes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Terms of Service<\/strong>:\u00a0 Three (3) years, Fixed Term Contract<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Officer, Knowledge Management (Strategy & Programmes)<\/strong>\u00a0reports to the\u00a0Supervisor \u2013 Strategy & Programmes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Summary<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The jobholder shall be responsible for implementing knowledge management initiatives such as knowledge retention and transfer, awareness creation programmes, knowledge sharing sessions\/webinars, knowledge identification and capture, subject matter experts, promoting knowledge sharing culture, track, measure and monitor knowledge management performance in the Authority.<\/p>\n

Duties and responsibilities<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Provide assistance in carrying out initiatives and programmes on the implementation of the corporate knowledge management strategy and policy in the assigned department(s).<\/li>\n
  • Implement knowledge retention and transfer by organising online\/physical engagements, trainings or sensitisations. Create and produce messages, articles and posters for the implementation of knowledge management awareness programme.<\/li>\n
  • Identify and conduct structured interviews to elicit critical knowledge from the staff set to retire who are subject matter experts through knowledge video documentation.<\/li>\n
  • Identify knowledge topics and potential experts in partnership with departments to implement knowledge sharing sessions and webinars on strategic knowledge areas<\/li>\n
  • Manage the process of creating knowledge transfer teams, conduct briefing sessions, and make follow-ups with knowledge transfer members to ensure knowledge transfer is successfully executed.<\/li>\n
  • Identify, capture, collect and publish knowledge resources in the knowledge management platform.<\/li>\n
  • Liaise with the departments\/staff on the creation and collection of best practices and knowledge sharing success stories for publishing.<\/li>\n
  • Track, measure and monitor knowledge management performance to report and communicate impact.<\/li>\n
  • Research and identify innovative ideas to improve knowledge management practices in the Authority<\/li>\n
  • Carry out an active role in knowledge management initiatives, i.e presentations, expert\u2019s capacity building program and assisting in engagement of retiring staff.<\/li>\n
  • Record virtual knowledge management (KM) webinars, knowledge sharing sessions, webinars, meetings, and make proposals on editing the recordings before publishing in the iKnow platform.<\/li>\n
  • Create meeting links, offering technical support in all KM virtual sessions and generating attendance registers for all sessions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Person specifications<\/h4>\n

    For appointment to this job, the candidate must have:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Bachelor's degree in Knowledge Management, or information science with knowledge management specialisation or its equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.<\/li>\n
    • Proficiency in Computer Applications.<\/li>\n
    • Membership in a relevant professional body, such as knowledge management<\/li>\n
    • One(1) year of relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          1. Valid certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.<\/li>\r\n\t
          2. Valid clearance certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).<\/li>\r\n\t
          3. Valid tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).<\/li>\r\n\t
          4.
