The Authority is seeking to recruit results-oriented, self-driven, dynamic, and experienced individuals with high integrity to fill the following positions:<\/p>\n

Officer \u2013 Knowledge Infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n

Terms of Service<\/strong>:\u00a0 Three (3) years, Fixed Term Contract<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Officer \u2013 Knowledge Management (Knowledge Infrastructure)<\/strong>\u00a0reports to the\u00a0Supervisor \u2013 Knowledge Infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Summary<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The job holder is responsible for providing technical support in the Authority\u2019s knowledge management infrastructure, customization, upgrading, maintenance, and supporting knowledge identification, capture, sharing, collecting and publishing in the corporate knowledge base, as well as conducting knowledge sharing sessions\/webinars.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Duties and responsibilities<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Support in the development, customisation and maintenance of the knowledge management system, iKnow Platform<\/li>\n
  • Monitor and report the functionality and availability of knowledge management systems.<\/li>\n
  • Facilitate and support users in the utilization of the knowledge management platforms.<\/li>\n
  • Raise knowledge awareness by implementing awareness, publicity, training, sensitisation and communication of knowledge management initiatives.<\/li>\n
  • Graphics design \u2013 designing knowledge management (KM) messages\/posters.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare and provide knowledge management performance transactions, and reports.<\/li>\n
  • Conduct follow-ups, engagements with departments to identify, collect and publish knowledge resources on the iKnow Platform<\/li>\n
  • Create a taxonomy for publishing and finding knowledge resources in the corporate knowledge base<\/li>\n
  • Record interviews and other knowledge extraction activities using AV equipment.<\/li>\n
  • Record virtual knowledge management webinars, knowledge sharing sessions and meetings, editing the recordings to make them more informative<\/li>\n
  • Compress edited videos to the recommended size before publishing to ensure they do not take up much space on the iKnow Platform.<\/li>\n
  • Create meeting links, offer technical support in all Knowledge Management virtual sessions and generate attendance registers for all sessions.<\/li>\n
  • Edit videos from various sources, i.e Knowledge Retention & Transfer, media interview segments, extracts from previous videos,<\/li>\n
  • Administer knowledge management platforms, e.g KM Lotus group emails, KM Webex platform.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Person specifications<\/h4>\n

    For appointment to this job, the candidate must have:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Bachelor's degree in Knowledge Management, or information science with knowledge management specialisation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.<\/li>\n
    • Proficiency in Computer Applications.<\/li>\n
    • Membership in a relevant professional body, such as knowledge management.<\/li>\n
    • One(1) year of relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Good interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n

          2. Valid clearance certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).<\/li>\r\n\t
          3. Valid tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).<\/li>\r\n\t
          4.
