Purpose of role:<\/h4>\n

Ariya Energy Ltd (\u201cAriya\u201d) is an experienced developer and investor in clean and renewable energy projects. We specialize in financing, owning, and operating such projects through
\nproprietary structures.<\/p>\n

We are seeking an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Technician<\/strong> to manage the operations and maintenance activities for solar PV power plants.<\/p>\n

Key Objectives of the Role:<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Ensure effective delivery of all scopes defined in O&M contracts.<\/li>\n
  • Implement systems for performance monitoring, inspection, and preventive maintenance of solar plants.<\/li>\n
  • Develop and integrate technological solutions to enhance customer experience, including user-friendly monitoring applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This role involves significant travel (3 to 5 days a week), as you will be required to visit project sites across Kenya and neighboring countries.<\/p>\n

    Experience & Expertise<\/h4>\n

    Educational Background:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).<\/li>\n
    • Minimum 2 years (3+ years preferred) of proven working experience on solar PV project maintenance.<\/li>\n
    • Registration with a professional body such as EPRA.<\/li>\n
    • Completion of a solar PV training course from a reputable institution will be considered an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Skills and Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Proficiency in monitoring and analyzing solar PV performance data.<\/li>\n
      • Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.<\/li>\n
      • Strong troubleshooting skills for unscheduled solar PV equipment breakdown.<\/li>\n
      • Ability to offer technical support to clients and other stakeholders effectively.<\/li>\n
      • Proficiency in maintenance and performance report writing using MS office.<\/li>\n
      • Expertise in managing tools, spares and stock inventory.<\/li>\n
      • Experience in material specification and procurement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • High diligence and attention to detail in designing procedures and documentation.<\/li>\n
