Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong>Sales Intern - Cold Storage Solutions<\/p>\n

Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Nairobi<\/p>\n

Reports to:<\/strong>\u00a0Business Development Manager<\/p>\n

Duration:<\/strong>\u00a06 months, with possibility of extension<\/p>\n

About the Role<\/h4>\n

We are seeking energetic and results-driven sales interns to support the promotion and adoption of\u00a0our mobile, solar-powered cold storage solutions. This internship offers hands-on experience in sales,\u00a0customer engagement, and agribusiness market development, with a focus on reducing post-harvest\u00a0losses for farmers, traders, and agribusinesses.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Support lead generation activities, including field visits, cold calls, and social media outreach.<\/li>\n
  • Educate potential customers (farmers, traders, cooperatives, exporters) on our cold storage\u00a0solutions and rental\/purchase options.<\/li>\n
  • Assist in preparing and delivering sales pitches, proposals, and product demonstrations.<\/li>\n
  • Gather and document customer feedback to help improve product offerings.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain updated customer databases and sales tracking reports.<\/li>\n
  • Participate in exhibitions, market days, and stakeholder forums to promote the brand.<\/li>\n
  • Work closely with the business development team to follow up on leads and close sales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Requirements<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Diploma\/Degree (or ongoing studies) in Sales & Marketing, Agribusiness, Business\u00a0Management, or related field.<\/li>\n
    • Passion for agriculture, sustainability, and technology-driven solutions.<\/li>\n
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and willing to work in both field and office environments.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to engage with farmers, cooperatives, and agribusiness stakeholders.<\/li>\n
    • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Google Workspace); familiarity with CRM tools is an\u00a0added advantage.<\/li>\n
    • Willingness to travel within assigned regions.<\/li>\n
    • Previous sales experience (even in school projects or volunteer roles) is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
