The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) is a state corporation established under the Films and Stage Plays Act Cap 222<\/i> to regulate the creation, broadcast, possession, distribution and exhibition of film and broadcast content to ensure conformity to national aspirations and cultural values.<\/p>\n

In order to enhance its capacity to deliver on the afore-cited statutory mandate, the Board invites applications from qualified candidates to provide services of Office Assistant<\/strong> on casual terms of service, at the Garissa Office<\/strong> located at the County Commissioner's Office, Garissa.<\/p>\n

Job Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n

Specific duties and responsibilities for post: -<\/p>\n

  1. Assisting in managing the front office;<\/li>\n
  2. Preparing & maintaining of records filing;<\/li>\n
  3. Data entry, documents preparation;<\/li>\n
  4. Preparing & serving office refreshments;<\/li>\n
  5. Delivering mails & packages;<\/li>\n
  6. Filing of documents;<\/li>\n
  7. Ensuring safe custody of invoices, receipts & other records;<\/li>\n
  8. Maintaining office cleanliness;<\/li>\n
  9. Handling office visitors;<\/li>\n
  10. Handling incoming & outgoing correspondences;<\/li>\n
  11. Running office errands;<\/li>\n
  12. Providing support to other employees<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Job Specifications:<\/h4>\n

    For appointment, the applicant must:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Have at least 2 years' experience working as an office assistant<\/li>\n
    2. Have KCSE (Mean grade D Plain) or equivalent<\/li>\n
    3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel)<\/li>\n
    4. Attention to detail and accuracy<\/li>\n
    5. Good communication & interpersonal skills<\/li>\n
    6. Have valid certificate of good conduct\/police clearance certificate;<\/li>\n
    7. Fluent in both English and Kiswahili languages<\/li>\n
    8.
