The Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) is a fully-fledged Public University in Kenya situated in Mombasa County with a student population of 19,930 and staff complement of 597. DEAN OF STUDENTS DEPARTMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Position<\/strong>: Counseling Assistant III\u00a0 - (Permanent & Pensionable Terms)<\/p>\n

Reporting To<\/strong>: Senior Counselor<\/p>\n

Professional Requirements<\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. Must possess Diploma in Counseling Psychology or its equivalent from a recognized institution<\/li>\n
  2. Must have a Certificate in HIV Counselling and Testing from NASCOP<\/li>\n
  3. Must be registered with Counsellor and Psychologist Board of Kenya<\/li>\n
  4. Must be provide evidence of computer literacy<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u00a0Duties and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n
      \n
    1. Assist in orientation of new students<\/li>\n
    2. Assist in provision of family life education in conjunction with the Senior Counselor<\/li>\n
    3. Assist in preparation for public lectures\/seminars on social and psychological concern<\/li>\n
    4. Assist in coordinating crisis interventions<\/li>\n
    5. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      REMUNERATION<\/h4>\n
