Established in 1937 and located at Bomet County, AGC Tenwek Hospital is a Ministry of the Africa Gospel Church Kenya. It\u2019s a 500+ Bed Capacity Teaching and Referral Hospital serving the vast South-West Region of Kenya including but not limited to Bomet, Narok, Kisii, Kericho and Kisumu Counties. Over the years, the Hospital has grown to become one of the top healthcare institutions in the Country offering a wide variety of healthcare services. We pride ourselves as the home of the state-of-the-art Cardiothoracic Centre (CTC), a beacon of hope and healing for patients with heart diseases in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.<\/p>\n

AGC Tenwek Hospital is seeking to recruit highly motivated, ministry minded, born again Christians with good standing, demonstrating spiritual maturity, integrity and a calling to serve to fill the following positions:<\/p>\n

ICT Assistant<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The IT Assistant will support the College\u2019s ICT services, assist in the management of online learning platforms, and collaborate with the Marketing Unit to strengthen the institution\u2019s digital visibility. The role ensures smooth IT operations, reliable e-learning delivery, and effective use of social media for brand presence.<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n

ICT Support Services<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Provide first-line IT support to staff and students, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain ICT equipment, including computers, printers, projectors, and internet connectivity.<\/li>\n
  • Support implementation and maintenance of college ICT systems, including user account management and data backups.<\/li>\n
  • Assist in cybersecurity awareness and compliance within the College.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Online Studies Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Support the administration and monitoring of the College\u2019s online learning platforms (e.g., LMS, eclassrooms, video conferencing tools).<\/li>\n
    • Provide technical support to faculty and students during online classes.<\/li>\n
    • Upload, organize, and maintain course content in collaboration with academic staff.<\/li>\n
    • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for seamless online learning delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Digital Visibility & Marketing Support<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Collaborate with the Marketing Unit to optimize the College\u2019s social media presence (Facebook, Twitter\/X,<\/li>\n
      • LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).<\/li>\n
      • Manage and update digital content, including posts, graphics, and multimedia, to engage audiences.<\/li>\n
      • Monitor analytics and provide reports on digital engagement.<\/li>\n
      • Ensure brand consistency and professionalism in all digital communications.<\/li>\n
      • Perform other related duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Qualifications & Requirements:<\/h4>\n
          \n
        • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.<\/li>\n
        • Additional training in Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, or related areas will be an advantage.<\/li>\n
        • At least 2 years of relevant working experience<\/strong> in a busy environment, preferably in the education\/health sector.<\/strong><\/li>\n
        • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networking, and e-learning platforms.<\/li>\n
        • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital content creation tools.<\/li>\n
        • Good understanding of data protection and ICT security practices.<\/li>\n
        • High ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality.<\/li>\n
