The Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) is a State Corporation established under the Science Technology and Innovation (ST&I) Act, No 28 of 2013. The mandate to develop and manage the National Innovation System.<\/p>\n

The Agency invites applications from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following vacant position:<\/p>\n

CORPORATE COMMUNICATION OFFICER II, KENIA 8 - J (Post 1)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Post Duration<\/strong>: Parmanent<\/p>\n

This is an entry level grade for degree holder into this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.<\/p>\n

(a) Job Specifications<\/h4>\n

Duties and responsibilities at this level entail:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Implementing communications, customer and branding strategies to support the Agency\u2019s objectives;<\/li>\n
  2. Supporting activities to enhance the corporate image of the Agency;<\/li>\n
  3. Monitoring internal and external media communication functions;<\/li>\n
  4. Assisting in protocol management;<\/li>\n
  5. Organizing Agency\u2019s planned events and functions;<\/li>\n
  6. Providing content in the development of Communication materials;<\/li>\n
  7. Supporting implementation of the Agency Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and preparing reports;<\/li>\n
  8. Responding to customer enquiries<\/li>\n
  9. Receiving, analysing and sharing customer feedback;<\/li>\n
  10. Manning information desk services at public awareness programmes and outreach forums.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    (b) Person Specifications<\/h4>\n

    For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: -Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;<\/li>\n
    2. Membership to the Public Relation Society of Kenya (PRSK) or Media Council of Kenya (MCK) or any other relevant professional body and in good standing;and<\/li>\n
    3.
