Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:<\/h4>\n

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Bachelor\u2019s degree in any of the following fields: - Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n

    You will develop system specifications, implement and maintain systems, repair ICT equipment, and provide training and support to users.<\/p>\n

    Duties and responsibilities entail performing and assisting in the following:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Receiving and installing ICT equipment;<\/li>\n
    • Configuring and testing computer hardware and software including network appliances;<\/li>\n
    • Performing routine backups;<\/li>\n
    • Website maintenance;<\/li>\n
    • Setting up and maintaining applications including Email, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and database;<\/li>\n
    • Managing helpdesk application and generation of quarterly reports;<\/li>\n
    • Installing necessary hardware and software upgrades into the ICT network;<\/li>\n
    • Documenting and reporting on standards, compliance including ISO and Risk Assessment;<\/li>\n
    • Monitoring network performance; and<\/li>\n
    • Maintaining support systems and training end users on emerging technologies.<\/li>\n

      Applicants must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya by submitting valid and current copies of the following:<\/p>\r\n

      1. Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.<\/li>\r\n\t
      2. Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority.<\/li>\r\n\t
      3. Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).<\/li>\r\n\t
      4. Clearance Certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).<\/li>\r\n\t
      5. Report from a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
