EWASCO is advertising a one-year internship program aimed at developing young Kenyan talent for roles within water utility services. Applicants must be recent graduates between 20 and 35 years old who have no prior relevant work experience. Available positions include roles in Legal, Engineering, Administration, and Water Operations, each requiring specific academic qualifications. The program seeks dynamic, goal-oriented individuals who possess strong interpersonal skills and integrity.<\/p>\n

INTERNS ADVERTISEMENT- OCTOBER 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Embu Water and Sanitation Company Limited, a private water utility company fully owned by the County Government of Embu and with a mandate to provide water and sanitation services in Embu County, has been running an Internship Program that seeks to develop a pool of young talent adequately exposed to water service provision operations. The internship takes one (1) year after which the candidates are released to pursue opportunities in the job market.<\/p>\n

Internship Objective<\/h4>\n

The objective of EWASCO is to develop and prepare young talents to take up employment opportunities that come up in the Water Utilities in Kenya. The Internship Program also provides participants with an excellent opportunity to gain work-place experience, expand knowledge, refine career goals and build professional networks, mentors and contacts.<\/p>\n

Basic Requirements<\/h4>\n

a) Be a Kenyan youth between 20 to 35 years of age;
\nb) Must have graduated from a recognized university
\nc) Applicant's recommendation\/reference letter from the institution attended will be an added advantage.
\nd) Should not have undertaken any other Internship programme or exposed to work-place experience related to their area of study since graduating.

  1. Assistant Legal Officer EWASCO\/HR\/CORP\/2\/2025-2026
    \n<\/strong>Requirement<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
      \n
    • A Degree in Law from a recognized University,<\/li>\n
    • Recommendation Letter from Kenya School of Law with regard to the Advocates Training Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Engineering Assistant EWASCO\/HR\/TECH\/6\/2025-2026
      \n<\/strong><\/p>\n
        \n
      • Requirement<\/strong>: Degree in Civil, Water, Biosystem Engineering from a recognized institution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Administrative Assistant II EWASCO\/HR\/CORP\/4\/2025-2026
        \n<\/strong><\/p>\n
          \n
        • Requirement: <\/strong>Certificate in Secretarial Studies stages II, Public Relations, Communication, or business-related course, or equivalent from a recognized institution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Water Operator I EWASCO\/HR\/TECH\/7\/2025-2026<\/strong>\n

          • Requirement: <\/strong>Diploma in Water Engineering (Water Supply) or equivalent from a recognized Institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
