Murang'a County Government Internship Program is a government youth programme whose main objective is to offer college graduates the opportunity to gain hands on experience and build skills in order to enhance their chances for employment, networking and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n

TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT<\/h4>\n

Job type<\/strong>: Full Time
\nQualification:-<\/strong> Diploma\/Degree (as indicated)
\nExperience:<\/strong> - None
\nLocation:<\/strong> Murang'a County
\nJob Field<\/strong>: GENERAL INTERN \u2013 FOUR (4) POSTS
\nStipend<\/strong>: The Interns will be paid a stipend at a rate determined by the County Government.
\nTimeline:<\/strong> Twelve (12) months Non-renewable<\/p>\n

Minimum Requirements<\/h4>\n

Requirements for Appointment an internship position a candidate must:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Be a Kenyan citizen not over the age of 35 years<\/li>\n
  • Be an unemployed graduate from a recognized training institution who has completed a certificate, diploma or a degree course in the last five years or less, in a relevant field.<\/li>\n
  • Not have benefited from a similar internship program or been exposed to work experience related to their area of study since graduating.<\/li>\n
  • Not have exited from formal employment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • ALL Applications for internship should be supported by the applicant's university\/college or related institution's records\/certificates\/transcripts.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Duties and responsibilities<\/h4>\n

      Internship Duties and responsibilities include; but not limited to:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Completing duties mutually agreed upon and assigned by the supervisors<\/li>\n
      • Documenting relevant skills acquired in their areas of deployment: and<\/li>\n
