Murang'a County Government Internship Program is a government youth programme whose main objective is to offer college graduates the opportunity to gain hands on experience and build skills in order to enhance their chances for employment, networking and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n

TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT<\/h4>\n

\nLocation:<\/strong> Murang'a County
\nJob Field<\/strong>: RADIOGRAPHER INTERN \u2013 THREE (3) POSTS
\nStipend<\/strong>: The Interns will be paid a stipend at a rate determined by the County Government.
\nTimeline:<\/strong> Twelve (12) months Non-renewable<\/p>\n

Minimum Requirements<\/h4>\n

Requirements for Appointment an internship position a candidate must:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Diploma in Radiography or Medical Imaging Sciences or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution; and<\/li>\n
  • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Eligibility Criteria<\/h4>\n

    To qualify, an applicant must<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Be a Kenyan citizen not over the age of 35 years<\/li>\n
    • Be an unemployed graduate from a recognized training institution who has completed a Diploma or degree course in the last 24 months or less, in the relevant field.<\/li>\n
    • Not have benefited from a similar internship program or been exposed to work experience related to their area of study since graduating.<\/li>\n
    • Not have exited from formal employment.<\/li>\n
    • ALL Applications for internship should be supported by the applicant's university\/college or related institution's records\/certificates\/transcripts.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Duties and responsibilities<\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Receiving and identifying patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures;<\/li>\n
      • providing basic diagnostic and therapeutic radiography services;<\/li>\n
      • processing, verifying and maintaining information relating to patients;<\/li>\n
      • caring for and counseling patients and their guardian before, during and after the examination;<\/li>\n
      • applying radiation safety measures to self, patient and the public; and<\/li>\n
