Our client\u00a0is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced\u00a0Drivers (Tuk Tuk & Canter)<\/strong>\u00a0to support its expanding logistics operations in\u00a0Nairobi and Mombasa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Position Summary<\/h4>\n

Reporting to the\u00a0Warehouse Manager<\/strong>, the\u00a0Driver (Tuk Tuk & Canter)<\/strong>\u00a0will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods between company warehouses, outlets, and customers. The role requires flexibility, reliability, and a high sense of responsibility to ensure deliveries are made accurately and on schedule while maintaining company vehicle standards and adhering to traffic and safety regulations.<\/p>\n

This position specifically targets\u00a0Tuk Tuk Drivers who can also operate canters<\/strong>\u00a0and are available for\u00a0immediate engagement<\/strong>. Recruitment will be conducted on a\u00a0rolling basis<\/strong>\u00a0due to operational urgency.<\/p>\n

Key Duties & Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

a) Delivery & Transportation<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Safely drive assigned Tuk Tuks and Canters to deliver goods to customers and outlets.<\/li>\n
  • Verify all items before dispatch and upon delivery to ensure accuracy.<\/li>\n
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to minimise delays and fuel consumption.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure goods are delivered within scheduled timelines and in good condition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    b) Customer Service<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with customers.<\/li>\n
    • Collect signed delivery notes and maintain accurate proof of delivery records.<\/li>\n
    • Address customer concerns promptly and escalate unresolved issues to the Warehouse Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      c) Vehicle Maintenance<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip checks (fuel, tires, oil, lights, brakes, etc.).<\/li>\n
      • Maintain cleanliness and operational standards of assigned vehicles.<\/li>\n
      • Report any vehicle defects, maintenance needs, or accidents immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        d) Documentation & Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Keep accurate records of daily deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and route logs.<\/li>\n
        • Submit delivery reports to the Warehouse Manager at the end of each shift.<\/li>\n
        • Ensure all delivery documentation is completed, signed, and filed correctly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          e) Safety & Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and internal safety guidelines.<\/li>\n
          • Report accidents, delays, or security concerns promptly.<\/li>\n
          • Comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            f) Loading & Unloading<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            • Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring safe handling and stacking.<\/li>\n
            • Prevent damage to fragile or high-value goods during transport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Qualifications & Experience<\/h4>\n
                \n
              • KCSE Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical\/Automotive Engineering (an added advantage).<\/li>\n
              • Valid driver\u2019s license with\u00a0Class BCE or relevant categories for Tuk Tuk and Canter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
              • Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations or accidents.<\/li>\n
              • Minimum 2\u20133 years\u2019 experience<\/strong>\u00a0driving Tuk Tuks or small delivery trucks within FMCG, logistics, or retail environments.<\/li>\n
              • Good knowledge of delivery routes in\u00a0Nairobi, Mombasa, and surrounding regions.<\/strong><\/li>\n
              • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor repairs preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
