The Competition Authority of Kenya ('the Authority') is a Statutory Agency established under the Competition Act, CAP 504 (the Act). The Authority's mandate is to promote and safeguard competition, and protect consumers from unfair and misleading market conduct.<\/p>\n

Young Professional Programme (YPP) - Five (5) Positions<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Authority runs a one (1) year Young Professional Programme (YPP) to expose the participants to the Competition Policy and Law Enforcement to motivate and thereby deepen interest and capacity in this field.<\/p>\n

The Authority invites applications from suitably qualified applicants for the Calendar year 2026 as per the functional areas below:<\/p>\n

    Academic Qualifications.<\/h4>\n

    Applicants MUST<\/strong> have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Law, Economics, or Business-related course from a recognized University and MUST<\/strong> be below thirty-five (35) years of age.<\/p>\n

    Terms of engagement<\/h4>\n

    The successful candidates will be under a one (1) year training contract and will be paid a monthly stipend of Ksh. 70,000 per month. At the end of the programme, all the Young Professionals will be required to write a paper on Competition Policy and Law before issuance of a certificate.     1. The Authority does not guarantee employment after completion of the Young Professional Program;<\/li>\r\n \t

      2. Higher Education Loans Board<\/li>\r\n \t
      3. Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.<\/li>\r\n \t
      4. Criminal Investigations Department<\/li>\r\n \t
      5.
