Kitale National Polytechnic is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer for a Permanent and Pensionable contract. <\/strong><strong>This is your opportunity to exercise your expertise in public procurement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The Kitale National Polytechnic is a TVET institution established under the TVET Act of 2013 and Legal Order number 95 of 2016 with the mandate to produces trained qualified and professional contributing to trained self-reliant, industry demanded skilled individuals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Procurement Officer - Job Group K (1 Position)<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the implementation of procurement plans.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain procurement records and reports.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in tendering processes and contract management.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with suppliers and user departments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Minimum Requirements:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor's Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.<\/li>\n<li>A CIPS certification.<\/li>\n<li>Registered with a relevant professional body (e.g., KISM).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable in ICT\/ERP procurement systems.<\/li>\n<li>One (1) year experience in a similar role is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Terms of Service<\/strong>: Permanent and Pensionable<br \/>\n<strong>Salary Scale<\/strong>: As per the Government of Kenya guidelines for Job Group K.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":682662,"template":"","meta":{"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_promoted":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_job_salary_unit":"","_job_how_to_apply":"Applicants must have attached copies of Academic and Professional Certificates, Testimonials, Curriculum Vitae (CV), copy of National ID.
