Cytonn HR has been mandated by Vunoh to hire a Product Assistant Intern for them. The successful candidate will play a cross-functional role supporting product development, marketing, and servicing at Vunoh. You\u2019ll assist in translating customer insights into product improvements, coordinate go-to-market activities, and help maintain smooth post-launch operations. You\u2019ll also be involved in digital marketing for diaspora audiences, helping Vunoh build brand awareness and drive engagement through content, campaigns, and community outreach especially during high-impact seasons such as the December holidays.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

  1. Assist in documenting product requirements, workflows, and feature requests.<\/li>\n
  2. Conduct research on competitor offerings, pricing models, and customer preferences (especially diaspora-focused services).<\/li>\n
  3. Participate in product testing and feature validation to ensure usability and client satisfaction.<\/li>\n
  4. Create and schedule social media content highlighting Vunoh\u2019s product benefits and customer success stories.<\/li>\n
  5. Assist in planning and executing product marketing campaigns targeting diaspora communities (Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, WhatsApp groups, and community pages).<\/li>\n
  6. Support the development and execution of December holiday campaigns, promoting Vunoh\u2019s Errand, Investment, and Real Estate services for seasonal needs (e.g., gifting, home support, family errands).<\/li>\n
  7. Conduct outreach to diaspora associations, church groups, and influencer partners for campaign collaboration.<\/li>\n
  8. Support process improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and retention.<\/li>\n
  9. Document client feedback and prepare summary reports for the Product and Client Service teams.<\/li>\n
  10. Manage social media engagement (comments, DMs, inquiries) and escalate potential leads to the Product or Client Service team.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Requirements<\/h4>\n
      \n
    1. Bachelor\u2019s degree or ongoing studies in Business, Marketing, Communication, or Technology.<\/li>\n
    2. Strong interest in product management, diaspora marketing, or fintech innovation<\/li>\n
    3. Excellent communication, organization, and digital marketing skills.<\/li>\n
    4. Familiarity with social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, Canva, Buffer, or HubSpot).<\/li>\n
    5. Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset with a passion for storytelling.<\/li>\n
    6. A minimum Score of B in your KSCE exams.<\/li>\n
    7. Ability to balance multiple projects and collaborate across teams.<\/li>\n
    8. Bonus: Understanding of diaspora communities and cross-border customer behaviour.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Learning Opportunities<\/h4>\n

      By the end of this internship, you will have gained end-to-end exposure to product lifecycle management \u2014 from ideation and marketing to client servicing.
