With offices in New York City, and Washington, D.C.; Nairobi, Kenya; Bogota, Colombia; and Geneva, Switzerland, the Center is a non-profit, non-partisan organization changing law and policy throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the United States. The incumbent will primarily work within the Africa program team and will be expected to collaborate with other units as needed.<\/p>\n<h4>Scope of Internship:<\/h4>\n<p>As an intern with the Africa program, your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with procurement and processing of professional service agreements as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparation, organization, and maintenance of operational and financial documents.<\/li>\n<li>Support travel arrangements and event logistics, including documentation and coordination.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain project documents on SharePoint and support project management tools (e.g., Monday.com).<\/li>\n<li>Support onboarding of new staff and internal team communications.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing materials, taking notes, and maintaining records.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to monitoring project risks and supporting compliance-related activities.<\/li>\n<li>Provide ad hoc support for Africa Program projects and other operational tasks as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>To be eligible for this internship, the candidate must be enrolled in a college or university or recently completed a degree in (in the past 1 yr.) \u00a0in a business, project management or other related degree.<\/li>\n<li>Must have exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a growing group.<\/li>\n<li>Outgoing, personable, approachable, enthusiastic, resourceful and highly organized.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle &amp; maintain confidential matters appropriately.<\/li>\n<li>Have the capability to multitask and adjust priorities as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duration and Compensation:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0This full-time internship will begin in January 2026 \u00a0and will run for a period of 6 months and will be \u00a0physically based at the Center\u2019s office in Nairobi, Kenya.
